Urgent
Liquid damage.
Act fast.
Liquid in an electronic device does not destroy data immediately. What destroys it is the corrosion that builds up over time, and the short circuits created when the device is switched on with moisture present. If you act quickly and avoid the classic mistakes, the chances are much better than you think.
Immediate steps
- 1 DO NOT turn the device on even if it seems to be working
- 2 Unplug the charger and any cables
- 3 Tilt the device with the port facing down to let it drain
- 4 Do not use a hairdryer — heat accelerates oxidation
- 5 Contact us immediately to arrange collection
What we do at the laboratory
- Ultrasonic board cleaning
- Corrosion removal from components
- Full electronic diagnosis
- Data extraction from storage
- Device condition report
Success rate
In cases where the device was not switched on after the accident, the data recovery rate exceeds 85%.
Even in cases where it was switched on multiple times, we manage to recover partial or complete data in many instances.

Questions about liquid damage
Turn it off immediately if it hasn't switched off on its own. Do not turn it back on. Do not plug in the charger. Place it with the connector port facing down so the liquid drains by gravity. Contact us as soon as possible — time matters.
Salt water and sugary drinks are more corrosive than plain water, but that doesn't change the approach: acting fast maximises the chances. Salt and sugar accelerate corrosion, so urgency is even greater in these cases.
Some home or device insurance policies include data recovery coverage. We issue a quote and invoice that can be used for insurance claims.
